Available Rooms: Fully furnished and available from January.
Location: The house is near the Gannett-Warren Pals Park on Cambridge St., Cambridge MA.
Safety and Neighbourhood: The neighborhood is quiet. And here are 2 cops living on this street.
Traffic:
This is as close to MIT as living on campus like Ashdown, Sydney-Pacific etc.
No. 69 Bus just outside our home to Green Line Lechmere and Harvard University.
Biking to both MIT and Harvard is 10 min which you can googlemap.
MIT Saferide Cambridge East stops outside our home.
House: We have two floors (1 upstair and 1 in the basement) with 4 bedroom. We 4 people share two living rooms (we use one as storage) , 1 nice kitchen, 1 studio, 1 TV room, 2 bathrooms, 1 laundry room. There is also a yard outside where the landlord grow tomatoes, grapes and usually park his jeep there.
Facilities: When we first moved here there is nothing, but now it is very good furnitured.
Studio stuff: printer, scanner, desks, chairs, bookshelf etc.
Kitchen stuff: all the kitchen stuff that you could ever imagine (for both Westen and Asian cuisine), dinner table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, oven,pots, rice-cooker, hotpot, bows, plates, folks, knives, chopsticks, spoons etc.
Laundry stuff: washer, clothing dryer.
Entertainment, Shops and Restaurants: walking to Shaws is 3 min. Walking to Target 5 min. Walking to the Malls like Cambridgeside Galeria, American Eagle Outfiters etc. is 20 min. There are many cool bars, restaurants small shops on Cambridge St. too which are about 10 min's walking. This is cooler than living on MIT campus.
Playground&Pool: There is a playground and a pool 5 min walking away from our home.
Roommates:
We have MIT and Harvard students living here.
Sanitation: We are doing quite well on keeping our home clean. I've never found rats or mosquito or any bugs.
Price:
Rent $950 / mon (Water+Gas+Heating+Electricity+Cable+Internet) included, almost everything. The bedroom is one of the master bedrooms of this house. It has a queen-size bed, a in-wall closet, and a desk. It has a garden view from the window in the room.
Payment and Deposit:
Rent must be paid before the 1st day of each month or late fee will be accumulated at a rate of 1% of the monthly rent per day delayed.
A security deposit with the amount equal to the monthly rent will be hold by me, which will be paid back to you upon your leaving if no damage or loss is induced.
